Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate of Competence
This qualification is available upon examination from an approved RYA examiner. This can be done on your own vessel or on a vessel hired to Broadhaven Marine Training.
At Broadhaven Marine Training our experienced Yachtmaster Instructor, Amy Mangan, will prepare you for the exam by tailoring familiarisation days to your level of experience.
Practical Familiarisation Training
Theory Refresher Training
Generally this training will encompass theory refreshers in tidal calculcations, weather forecasting, use of radar, International Regulations
for the Prevention of Collision at Sea and practical training in boat handling, passenger safety briefing, emergency drills, passage making, navigation including use of GPS, radar and the keeping of a ships log.
60 NM mile passages can also be arranged for those needing to meet the pre-requisites.
Training can be delivered on your own vessel or on a vessel hired to Broadhaven Marine Training. Maximum group size is four persons.
