Amy Mangan (nee Veasey) has worked in the marine industry for over 10 years, starting her career as a Deck Officer Cadet for P&O Cruises before becoming a Powerboat and Jet Ski Trainer for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
Amy has a variety of instructional experience having taught both recreationally in centres across the UK and Ireland and commercially to Search and Rescue organisations including the RNLI and Irish Coastguard.
Amy is Yachtmaster Instructor (Power) and has skippered boats throughout the UK and Ireland. She worked offshore for two years as commander of a 19m search and rescue vessel in the North Sea.
Amy has trained powerboat and jet ski instructors for eight years being qualified as both an RYA and ISA trainer.
